Currently HWOPS is on hiatus during COVID19 restrictions. We plan to reevaluate resumption of OC6 practices pending King County’s transition into Phase 3 reopening. For experienced paddlers we have an OC1 and OC2 available to use for club members. Please contact us for orientation.
Hui Wa’a O Puget Sound is a Community Organization
The organization was created to promote the Hawaiian culture here in the Northwest.
We perpetuate the Hawaiian culture through the promotion of Outrigger Canoe Paddling and the art of Hula Dancing.
Our club specializes in teaching and training men, women, and children in the art, craft and history of Hawaiian outrigger canoeing. We provide opportunities for interaction and cultural exchange between the people of the United States, American Indians & Pacific Islanders.
Tuesday, Thursday: 6:00pm – 8:00 pm
Saturday 9:00am – 11:00am
First 2 practices are free
$120 for yearly membership
