Rowing logoKenmore Rowing Club is a community rowing club located on the north shore of Lake Washington.  We are a recreational club for master and junior rowers, of all levels, that values instruction, promotes fitness, and has the opportunity for competition for all members.

Our season runs April through September.

Try Rowing!

Learn the basics of rowing in a fun, calm-water environment. No experience necessary.

Open to juniors (12 years+) and master (18 years +) rowers. If you have never tried rowing, but have always wanted to, sign up for a single, 3-hour Saturday class. Class will consist of learning the basics of the rowing stroke on land and then in the boat.

Dates:  8/18
Time: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm

Requirements:  You will need to sign the US Rowing waiver.
Must be able to swim.

Novice Rowing

For new or inexperienced rowers. Consists of 4 consecutive Wednesday night classes.
Masters – 18 years and older

Class start dates: 4/4, 5/2, 6/6, 7/11, 8/1
Time: 6:30 – 8:30
Cost: $150

Requirements:  Pass a float test and sign the USRowing waiver. A minimum number of 4 rowers required to run the class.  If fewer are registered for a session, you will be notified, and your registration may be moved forward to the next start date.

Masters

Rowing will begin the first week in April for returning and new experienced rowers.

Masters – 18 years and older

Days: Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from April to mid-September.
Launching from: TBD
Time: 6:30 – 8:30
Cost: $250

Requirements:  pass a float test and sign all registration forms.

Summer Junior Learn to Row – Age 12+

Learn the basics of rowing in a 5 day rowing camp. Scholarships available. No experience necessary.  A minimum number of 5 rowers required to run the class. Must be able to pass the float test.

Camp Dates: July 9 – 13, July 23 – 26, August 6 – 10
