DESCRIPTION:Kenmore Quad is back for 2024! Register for the August 24\, 2024 event here! \n\n\n\nJoin us for the 2nd annual Kenmore Quad event! This unique event takes the traditional triathlon to the next level with an added paddling component (kayak or SUP). Take on this challenge solo or enlist a group of friends (up to 4 participants in a relay) to enjoy the scenic Kenmore waterfront. This event is not timed so just relax and have fun in this non-competitive community activity. All participants will be entered into a drawing for great prizes. \n\n\n\nYou can register as an individual or relay (2\,3 and 4 person) for a 1/4 mile swim\, 6 mile bike\, 1.6 mile run and 1.3 mile paddle. All routes are posted + span beautiful parts of Log Boom beach\, Burke-Gilman trail\, Sammamish Trail andTl’ awl-ah-dees Park.  \n\n\n\n\nSwim: Log Boom park beach (1/4 mile swim)\n\n\n\nBike: A gentle ride on the Burke-Gilman and Sammamish River Trail to Wayne Golf Course area and back (6 mile bike)\n\n\n\nRun: One way from Log Boom Park on the Burke-Gilman Trail to Tl’awh-ah-dees Park (1.6 mile run)\n\n\n\nPaddle: One way from Tl’awh-ah-dees Park to Log Boom (1.3 mile paddle)\n\n\n\n\nSponsor + volunteer opportunities are also available.
